Mayfair Art Weekend | Friday 28 - Sunday 30 June 2019
The last weekend in June will see art galleries and fashion houses across Mayfair & St James’s staging a rich array of exhibitions, tours, performances, talks and site-specific installations. Celebrate the diverse offering of this historic cultural district where the worlds of art, fashion and luxury converge.
This year includes the participation of celebrated local and international galleries, including Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, Hauser & Wirth , Gagosian and Victoria Miro , who will host exhibitions of internationally recognised artists, ranging from modern masters to contemporary art.
The Gallery HOP! launches the weekend of free art and events, expect special evening viewings and events from 6-8pm on Friday 28 June. Highlights include a live jazz performance at Cynthia Corbett Gallery and an immersive soundscape created by DJ Cedric Bardawil of Fourth Sounds in response to the Waddington Custot exhibition, featuring paintings by Joan Miró and Cy Twombly.
