Stella McCartney x adidas - A Colourful Take on Vegan Stan Smiths

Stella McCartney has teamed up with iconic sports brand adidas again to bring out another collection of vegan Stan Smiths. With a new design for 2020, their second collection of the Stella Stan Smiths are 100% vegan and embodies the designer's commitment to cruelty-free, sustainable practices in fashion without having to compromise on style. 

The luxury lifestyle brand has created these limited edition pieces which are made with animal-free leather and glue and for this year, come with both white and rainbow laces. The pieces also pay homage to Stan Smith with his face printed on the tongue of the right shoe, while the left shoe has Stella's portrait and signature.

With a light and bright colour palette, these shoes are practical, versatile and perfect for Spring. The rainbow colours draw inspiration from the designers Spring 2020 collection and emphasises the brand's fun and playful mindset. Black and white stripes adorn the heel, and glimmers of rainbow gradient show through the laser cut stars that make up the iconic and classic three-stripe pattern.

The collection has been sized for both men and women and Stella McCartney herself has signed a limited number of pairs which are only available in select stores worldwide, a few of which can be found in their Bond Street store.
