Burberry’s latest collaboration brings together two icons of British creativity: the house’s heritage of craftsmanship and the unmistakable world of Sir Quentin Blake.
Created under the direction of Daniel Lee, the capsule collection translates Blake’s expressive illustrations into a series of wearable artworks. Hand-drawn motifs appear across ready-to-wear and accessories, blending Burberry’s signature silhouettes and materials with a sense of imagination and play.
At the heart of the collection are illustrations spanning decades of Blake’s work - from feather drawings inspired by his 1971 artwork for The Birds by Aristophanes to previously unreleased pieces celebrating movement, nature and character. Rendered through lightweight gabardine, printed silk and tactile embroidery, each piece captures the spontaneity and storytelling that have defined Blake’s practice for generations.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to British creativity: bringing together illustration, craftsmanship and contemporary design in a collection that feels both collectible and expressive.
As Bond Street’s Art in Mayfair returns from June to August, celebrating creativity across the neighbourhood, Burberry x Sir Quentin Blake offers another way to experience art - not only on walls, but through fashion, storytelling and cultural expression.
