Frieze Week 2026: Experience Frieze London the Bond Street Way

Art Frieze London

The excitement is building as Frieze Week returns to The Regent’s Park, 14-18 October, 2026. Expect vibrant new contemporary work at Frieze London, while Frieze Masters offers insights and fresh perspectives on works spanning millennia. Together, the fairs unite the art of the present with that of the past, at the heart of the capital's dynamic art scene, where artists, galleries, and institutions continue to influence culture worldwide.

With so many participating galleries located in and around Bond Street, this artistic pocket of Mayfair comes into its own. Whether you're an artist, a collector or a first-time visitor to the show, here's where to see great art, enjoy delicious food and drink, and shop for artful pieces for the home, moments from The Regent's Park.

Art Beyond the Fair

While Richard Green presents work by British artists Ben Nicholson, Patrick Heron, and Henry Moore at Frieze Masters, John Atkinson Grimshaw’s evocative landscapes capture autumn's beauty at its New Bond Street Gallery. Next door, Halcyon Gallery is hosting the first major exhibition of original artworks by the actor Johnny Depp.

Timed to coincide with Frieze Week, Sotheby's Contemporary Evening Auction takes place 15 October at 7pm sharp. The sale includes Post-War Abstraction, Pop Art, Postmodernism, and the most compelling voices of a new generation. Meanwhile, as part of Bonhams' 20th and 21st Century Art Day Sale, artworks by Fernando Botero and Pablo Picasso will go under the hammer at 1 pm on 16 October. Bonhams will also host a 20th and 21st Century Art Evening Sale on 15 October at 4pm.

Elsewhere, for those craving colour, 'Painting the French Riviera ' at the Royal Academy of Arts promises just that until 31 January 2027. And then there's Cork Street, sitting neatly between New Bond Street, Old Burlington Street and the RA, and home to heavyweight galleries including Waddington Custot and Frieze's dedicated Mayfair gallery, No.9 Cork Street. On nearby Savile Row, another established Frieze participating gallery, Hauser & Wirth, stages a solo exhibition by Cindy Sherman, 13 October-23 December 2026. The show features photographic works from the artist's new Fabric Matron series, with many pieces incorporating textiles and other elements drawn from Chanel’s extensive archives.

Refuel...

You'll clock up a lot of steps moving between the stands at Frieze and hiking across The Regent's Park to the tent at Frieze Masters, so be sure to make more than one pitstop. At The Beaumont Mayfair, Afternoon Tea (£70pp) in the Gatsby Room includes a bespoke patisserie inspired by Sir Antony Gormley’s iconic ROOM structure, housed within the hotel.

A bespoke seasonal menu celebrating the artistry, creativity and joy of café culture is served at the newly named Claridge’s Art Café by Thibault Hauchard. The menu features boiled eggs and soldiers, paired with perfectly oozy eggs and rich truffled cheese soldiers for dipping. Freshly made hot crêpes and crunchy salads complete the daytime offering, perfect before heading downstairs to Perrotin Gallery in search of more art.

The Autumn Afternoon Tea in The Gallery at Sketch has dainty finger sandwiches and Battenberg cake at its centre, £95 pp. On arrival at the fashionable townhouse, prepare to be wowed by the vibrant entrance installation, Static Arcade, by French artist and designer Camille Walala, on view until November 10, 2026.

After hours, you'll find the art crowd mingling over cocktails and beats at Isabel on Albemarle Street, or enjoying the signature Peking Duck at Hakkasan on Bruton Street, which is served with a smoky Negroni or Peking Sour on the house.

Shop...

For stunning shelf-fillers, look no further than the Shapero Rare Books' stand at Frieze Masters or browse its spacious store at 94 New Bond Street. The bookshop is home to a superb selection of collectable books, livres d'artistes, and works on paper from the likes of Joan Mitchell and Louise Bourgeois.

And if Frieze Masters has left you hankering after all things bright and beautiful, Bang & Olufsen's conical Beosound 2 speaker, £2,850, has a high-grade aluminium finish. Maison Diptyque's White Medicis Vase, £169, is hand-crafted in white wax by artisans in Portugal and will develop a gentle patina over time.

Created exclusively for Asprey London by Irish furniture makers, Zelouf & Bell, the Serpent Entertainment Trolley, POA, features a tangle of king cobras slithering against a backdrop of highly figured hedge-green bird’s-eye maple. Your dinner guests will either hiss with delight or seethe with envy as soon as you roll it into the room.

Stay...

An exclusive stay at Claridge's includes two VIP passes granting unlimited access to Frieze London and Frieze Masters. Between gallery-hopping and private viewings, retreat to the timeless luxury of your suite at Claridge's, complete with a £300 hotel credit and daily breakfast for two.

As part of Mandarin Oriental Mayfair's art-filled stay, guests receive VIP access to the fair, complete with transfers in the hotel’s very own Rolls-Royce. Art lovers can further enrich their stay by exploring the hotel’s exclusive art exhibition, The Living Square: Reflections. On view from September 2026 to January 2027, the show explores light, material, and perception through innovative contemporary art, collectable design, and striking sculptural installations.
