In a world of texts and digital communication, there’s something very beautiful about putting pen to paper. This Valentine’s Week, two icons of craftsmanship and heritage, Montblanc and Claridge’s, are bringing romance back to the written word with Love Letters from London.
From 10 - 13 February 2026, Claridge’s will welcome British poet and artist Charlie Child as its first-ever Poet-in-Residence. Each afternoon, Charlie will be writing bespoke love notes live from a dedicated Poet’s Corner in the hotel’s iconic Art Deco lobby, using Montblanc handcrafted writing instruments.
Guests are also encouraged to put pen to paper themselves. Letters posted into Claridge’s historic letter box, renamed the Claridge’s & Montblanc Love Letter Box for the week, will be sent anywhere in the world free of charge.
The collaboration coincides with the launch of the Montblanc Meisterstück Romeo & Juliet collection, inspired by Shakespeare’s timeless love story and crafted as a tribute to devotion, artistry and the enduring power of writing by hand.
A celebration of romance, heritage and craftsmanship, Love Letters from London offers a thoughtful pause in a fast-moving world and the perfect excuse to say something meaningful this Valentine’s Day.
