This September, sketch welcomes ¡hola, London!, a captivating exhibition from Mexico City and New York-based design gallery AGO Projects. In collaboration with PATRÓN Tequila, the exhibition brings the imaginative world of designer Daniel Valero and his studio Mestiz to Mayfair for the first time.
Inspired by the landscapes and folklore of San Miguel de Allende, Valero’s pieces reimagine organic forms in sculptural, dreamlike ways - benches appear to move mid-slither, lamps unfurl like desert blooms. Each work is handmade in collaboration with Mexican artisans, blending heritage with contemporary design.
The exhibition extends beyond the gallery, with bespoke woven mats, hand-painted agave plants, and a vibrant programme of events. Highlights include the PATRÓN Fiesta on 18 September, a launch celebration with Latin DJs, salsa dancing, and Mexican-inspired canapés.
From there, PATRÓN Nights take over every Friday evening throughout the exhibition. The Parlour is transformed with live Latin music, a reimagined tapas menu, think manchego churros, pulled pork tacos, and bold flavours of Mexico, and a bespoke cocktail list featuring PATRÓN’s finest tequilas. These evenings are guaranteed to capture the spirit of Mexico in the heart of Mayfair, blending culinary creativity, music, and design into an immersive late-night experience - book your table and don't miss out.
Even sketch’s Three-Michelin-Starred Lecture Room & Library joins the celebration, serving a bespoke PATRÓN El Alto cocktail, Simply Alto. Crafted to complement Pierre Gagnaire’s exceptional tasting menu, it offers guests a rare taste of Mexico’s most refined tequila in one of London’s most prestigious dining rooms.
¡hola, London! runs from 18 September to 11 November at sketch. Book here.
