The house of Louis Vuitton is no stranger to working with some of the world's leading artists. In 2001, Stephen Sprouse’s unique Graffiti Speedy collection saw the artist take the classic Louis Vuitton logo and turn it on its head. And who could forget Yayoi Kusama's 2023 leathergoods collection, the second for the house, which featured her signature polka dots splashed across the facade of Louis Vuitton's New Bond Street store, with matching flags lining the entire street?

“For those who loved this pairing the first time around, chapter two promises to be just as coveted”

Meanwhile, this season marks the return of yet another successful pairing with the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami to create a whimsical accessories collection. For those who loved this pairing the first time around, back in 2003 under the creative direction of Marc Jacobs, chapter two promises to be just as coveted.

The new LV x TM Boulogne PM bag, £2,250, makes a cheerful statement in monogram-coated canvas, overlaid with Murakami's vibrant cherry-blossom motif. Other features include a removable studded strap and gold-coloured hardware. As for the artist's playful floral design, it's guaranteed to spark a conversation at any stylish art show opening during this summer's Art in Mayfair event and beyond.
