Bond's Best: Hermès 'Under the Waves' Beach Rackets

Hermès Summer

For London-based children's author and illustrator Alice Shirley, there are no limits to her imagination and love of the natural world. In addition to bestselling story books, her unique artworks have been exhibited in the Natural History Museum.

Meanwhile, as part of an ongoing collaboration with the celebrated French luxury house that first began in 2012, Alice has been creating vibrant and whimsical prints on a range of coveted pieces including silk scarves, enamel jewellery and beach towels.

This pair of beautifully crafted beach racquets (£640) form part of the illustrator's new 'Under the Waves' print series. Inspired by the ethereal underwater world of Australia's Great Barrier Reef, tropical fish motifs are printed onto a smooth beechwood and cork surface. And while these stylish shoreline essentials might form part of the children's collection at Hermès, we think they will be a big hit with grown-ups too.
