The Jubilee

Celebrate the Queen's Jubliee on Bond Street

This year marked Her Majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and on Thursday June 2, the capital prepared for a Bank Holiday weekend to remember. Here on Bond Street, we celebrated our monarch's 70-year reign in our own inimitable style and invited you to join us for a retrospective wander through the history of Bond Street, show-stopping art, world-class shopping and celebratory cocktails.

Steeped in history and famous for its royal connections, Bond Street is where you'll find a large number of Royal Warrant Holders all on one street. From silversmiths to chocolatiers, leather-goods designers to luxury stationers, those bearing this celebrated mark of recognition include: Charbonnel et Walker, Burberry, Asprey and Smythson to name but a few.

Elsewhere, to mark this monumental occasion, our revered luxury hotels and auction houses pulled out all the stops. Sotheby's, with its rare display of royal tiaras and iconic portraits of Her Majesty was a great place to brush up on cultural history. As for the perfect Jubilee cocktail, the clever mixologists at Brown's Hotel and Claridge's both shared recipes for royal tipples to raise a glass to Her Majesty.
