Bar des Prés located on the prestigious Albemarle Street in Mayfair, is the first international venture for acclaimed French chef Cyril Lignac. Moving to London from Paris, the original Bar des Prés opened in November of 2016. For his first UK opening Cyril has brought an evolved version of Bar des Prés to the heart of Mayfair.
A restaurant which, in Paris, originally served only raw food, here in London the menu has both Franco/East Asian creations at the centre serving both warm and cold. Elegant seafood is on the menu alongside refined meat dishes, including: Grilled yellowtail carpaccio; ‘Galette Craquette’ (crunchy crab galette); Madras curried crab with avocado; Satay fillet steak. Cyril’s dessert menu honours his mastery of traditional French pastry - in revisiting the gamut of French patisserie classics the menu comprises his take his take on Chouquettes, Chocolate soufflé, and Vanilla and pecan praline mille-feuille which is a true delight.
And of course Bar des Prés has an extensive wine list with nearly 250 references of French pours, highlighting the variety and complexity of wines from Burgundy to Bordeaux and beyond. The cocktail menu at Bar des Prés will allow guests to experience drinks from its Parisian counterpart - such as the Germanopratin and its euphoric blend of gin, Saint-Germain, cucumber, lemon juice and Champagne - as well as creations exclusive to London, including the Mayfair Sour: Yamazaki whisky, lemon juice, ginger syrup, coconut batida, tonka bean.
The restaurant has an intimate feel and can accommodate 100 covers, it is the perfect restaurant destination for all.
