This June, Bond Street in partnership with the Royal Academy of Arts will once again host Art in Mayfair.
Now in its fourth year, Art in Mayfair is a month-long celebration of art and culture in London's iconic Mayfair and sees some of Bond Street and Mayfair’s most distinguished luxury stores transform the destination – one of the most iconic and dynamic art districts in the world - into an open art exhibition. As with previous years, stores across Bond Street and Mayfair are set to curate a collection of fabulous art inspired windows and host an array of exclusive cultural and art lead in-store events, as well as experiences, showcases and pop-ups.
For 2020, Art in Mayfair continues to be a part of the Royal Academy of Art’s Summer Exhibition programme. Bond Street will once again have Art Flags suspended above the street, designed by a leading Royal Academician, giving the impression of art from the Royal Academy spilling out onto Bond Street and beyond. In 2018, it was Rose Wylie’s Lolita’s House that transformed Bond Street and Sir Michael Craig-Martin’s series of flags depicting mass produced everyday items adorned the street in 2019.
